Born in '84, I have been singing my whole life and writing for around 9 years. I sing everything from pop, country, r&b, soft rock, contemporary christian and gospel, to opera, broadway and classical, however my songwriting focus os mostly on contemporary christian, gospel and a mix of r&b, pop, soft rock and country all intertwined. I'm different :)
As you can see, I am a Christian, and I love living for the Lord, and try my best to follow His will for my life as best as I can. No ones perfect, but that is what makes us human, and God loves us anyway, He made us! Who else would give His son to sacrifice so we all could have the chance of being with Him some day in Heaven!? Praise God.
I previously graduated from Mount Saint Vincent University, where I finished a Bachelor of Arts with an Advanced Major in Psychology and a Minor in Child and Youth Studies.
As of now, I am working as a counsellor for adults with intellectual dissabilities in group homes and small options homes around Dartmouth. It is a fun, challenging, sometimes draining, but a well worth it career - for now. I do have a heart for youth and plan on being a teen counsellor (perhaps in a Junior High) in the -hopefully- near future. I also am a youth care worker, which goes along with this desire to work with teens, and work with teens between the ages of 12-16 in a group home setting.
I draw portraits, and write short stories, plus lovvvvve spending quality time with friends, especially just sitting around and playing guitars and singing... I'm not great at the guitar part, but I love to sing with them!!

Music:

I dont listen to music that is sexually explicit or has swearing, its stupid and unmeaningful and gives the wrong message. With that in mind, I like Alternative Rock,Heavy Rock, Soft Rock, Classic Rock, Punk Rock, Rock in general, but with good lyrics, I also like some hip hop, and r&b. I like contemporary christian stuff, and I LOVE dance/house, pumping music hehe..
I cant name 'em all. oh oh, Bon Jovi too, and Rex Goudie has a great sound. :)

Actually, my fave movie right now is Memoirs of a Geisha. Everybody go see it!!!! It is soooooo good.
Then of course I like Empire Records.. haha classic!

Television:

Well, now that I am all done University (YEAH MSVU!), I have time to once in a while sit down and watch a show! Bones, CSI: NY, Next Top Model, House, Criminal Minds, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, CSI: Miami, Law & Order: SVU (so awesome), Law & Order: CI, The Bachelor, Without a Trace, Deal or no Deal, etc. Basically, I watch whatever is on in that genre if I am ever in front of the tv. But I'd rather be outside!!!
