The Audio Matrix was formed in 2000 by Mark Phillips at "The Refinery" in Bryanston, one of the top post production houses in South Africa. Mark has done the final sound mix on numerous award winning feature films, documentaries, commercials and tv series. Most notably were "Sarafina", "Cry The Beloved Country" and "Mr. Bones" and most recently three documentaries for the National Geographic Channel.
The Audio Matrix has recently completed the 5.1 surround mix for 16Stitch live at Woodstock, and Wickhead live at Woodstock, as well as recording the drum tracks for the latest Wickhead album.
Demos have been recorded for the following new bands : The Halo Effect, Japan and I, Downward Spiral and Inersha.
The Audio Matrix continues with weekly productions such as : Fear Factor, All You Need Is Love, Let's Fix It, Zone 14, as well as several different programs for DSTV's MKTV.
