We met again singing Karaoke at a local dive and married 3 short months later. We've been married for 14 years. Seems longer. We have 3 beautiful daughters. You can check them out in my pics. Kat is our oldest. She is 13. Then Morgan who just turned 12. Our baby is Kayla. She is 10 going on 30. Our lives have been a roller coaster. Our older two girls were diagnosed in 2002 with an extremely rare, genetic disorder called Gangliosidosis GM1. That's just a fancy way of saying they are dying. Their bodies are slowly giving out on them. We take each day in stride and love every moment with them. (well almost every moment)I am a singer by heart. Eight years of vocal training. The sucko part about that is my hubby hasn't had one day of training and I think he's better than I am. Go figure. I was raised in a musical family. Both sisters sing and play instruments. I played the cello in high school but dropped it to devote more time to my voice. I also played in the high school band. YEP, I was a band GEEK. I've been thinking about auditioning again at the local community theater, I just don't think I have the time for it. Family and all.I guess that about says it about me. Music:

I enjoy most types for music accept back woods country. My favorite is the musical Les Miserables. Just started listening to Wicked. LOVE IT!

Movies:

I enjoy a good movie. I'll watch pretty much anything, but some of my all time favorites are: Gone With The Wind, The 10 Commandments, Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (with the Bee Gees, oh yeah) and The Little Princess (Temple). I also collect Christmas videos with my favs being It's A Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street and of course all the Rankin/Bass Claymation flicks... width="425" height="350" ..

Television:

I have to admit, I am a reality TV show junky, with my favorite being American Idol. That's the only time during the school year we let our youngest daughter stay up late. I also enjoy Ghost Hunters, Survivor, Big Brother, Biggest Loser and The Nanny.

Books:

Just started reading Wicked by Gregory Maguire. I'm a little disappointed in the quality of the book. Almost like newspaper print. Hopefully it won't relate to how good the book will be. Bought the CD to the musical today too. Also love The Sister's Grimm written by fellow Garfield High Graduate Michael Buckley. Yeah, Yeah, it's for children but it's the first book I've read.

Heroes:

My daughter's Kat and Morgan, for fighting the good fight, and Kayla for dealing with her sisters. My mother, for dealing with me.
