About Me

>ello friends old,current and new!!! About me... Well I was born in New York. Adopted at age 3 months. Basically grew up with my cousins till I was 8 and we moved to Akron. I started school here at Firestone Park in the 4th Grade. Made a few close friend there (some of which I still have (smile) Then went to Roswell Kent and made some more. Then went to Garfield and had a blast for 3 years !! I was in Band (although unlike my friend Jenene I was a band DEEK!!) Orchestra, and Choir. Ran my parents ragged!! Graduated 1988 by the skin of my teeth I met my first husband the next summer ( also a Garfield grad (86) He joined the Navy and we moved to Virginia Beach where we had a blast and I got preggers. My oldest son Drew was born in 1991. Then we moved to Charleston,SC for 2 years then on to St. Marys , GA. He got out of the Navy, we moved back home to Akron, then we got divorced. Oh well such is life. Then I got remarried in 1998,and had Adam in Dec of that year. Basically been mom ever since. Ive got a few regrets but basically Im ok. The worst recent part of my life happened last year in November.My mom had a massive stroke which left her completely paralyzed on her left side. She also has to use a feeding tube. She is doing better than anyone expected she would and says she will walk again. I know better than to argue with her as she is as rotten as me =). My dad is doing a wonderfull job taking care of her but its very hard on him. Oh by the way Drew ( my oldest) just started Garfield and hes in the band. Surprise, surprise he playes trumpet ! Alot better than I ever did too. Im so proud of him. Well, that about sums me up. Hope to hear from lots of friends. And I hope you are all doing well.
