LIL BIT

DON'T SPEND LIFE WORRYING BOUT THE NEXT MAN

About Me

Born and raised in the projects of Knoxville, TN, Reginald "Lil’ Bit" Smith has overcome his share of problems. Having a few years of setbacks, at the age of 21, Lil’ Bit has finally come to a point in his career where he feels like he gets a great amount of respect. After a fall out with an earlier rap group, in 2006 Lil’ Bit set out on his own. With a style considered to be a mix of Jae Millz with a Southern bounce he plans to help get his city the respect it deserves.Lil’ Bit has entered plenty of competitions around Knoxville, ranging from freestyle battles to live performances. In 2006 he had the chance to open up for Grand Hustle’s Young Dro, and from there has done week to week shows around Knoxville. Recently, Lil’ Bit has been featured on tracks with the likes of Homebwoi, HourGlass, Ben Frank, Dat Boy Tragic, Mac, D.HopE just to name a few and has also been featured on mixtapes from the US, Australia, Sweden, and the UK. In 2007, Lil’ Bit released his solo debut "Knoxville Dungeon," on the local based indie label Life Support Records. Although “Knoxville Dungeon” was not a huge release it has done well, not only being sold in his own city but around the US thanks to Paypal and Myspace.Lil’ Bit is in the works of releasing a series of mixtapes starting with “Tennessee Lottery,” which is due to drop late 2007, leading up to the release of his untitled sophmore album in mid 2008. With the release of anything he does, Lil’ Bit plans on becoming a household name. He is also in the works of starting his own label entitled Touchdown Productions(TDP). It’s all work for Reginald Smith, so lookout for this Diddy minded artist/songwriter. - MyGen Profile Generator
