I love to read. I like doing home improvement projects (I can be quite the DIY'er). I am woman, therefore I like to shop... not just for cloths though... I love antique shops too. I like a good auction too. Love to travel... places I've never been... and a few I like to visit twice. Good food and good friends always makes for a fun time. I like alternative, rock and hip hop. I can go from Etta James to Matchbox Twenty to Metallica. My secret passion (which I usually only listen to alone) is trashy hip hop.
Favorite movie is "It's a Wonderful Life"... The Green Mile, Tombstone, City of Angels, Schindler's List, Love Actually, Grumpy Old Men, Brokeback Mountain, Harry Potter (all of them), Monsters Inc.
Its all about the Discovery Channel, TLC (though I've had about enough of Trading Spaces and such) and MSNBC. College Game Day on ESPN (during football season) is my most fav :) I've recently gotten hooked on "What Not To Wear" and "How Do I Look?" (let's blame it on TIVO).
This list could go on and on forever and ever. I love pretty much anything from James Patterson, Jonathon Kellerman, Maeve Binchey, Patricia Cornwell, Ed McBain, Stephen King, Ann Rule. I read mostly true crime and murder mystery. I've, of course, read all the Harry Potter books. Don't really care for self-help books or biographies.
That would be my Mother. She taught me to be independent and self-sufficient. She also taught me how to love and care for others.
