Performing ever since her childhood days, the youngest of three has been writing and singing as long as she can remember. Her phenomenal stage presence and captivating stage show are both results of the countless community performances, exhibitions and contests Empress has under her belt. “Writing songs allowed me to get through the many rough roads of my life. Especially in my younger days, the solace I took from writing love songs allowed me to deal with my relationships and I got to know me a lot better”. The (recording) booth is MY place. I am so comfortable there; am at peace there and it allows me to channel all my emotions I need to make my words real.” The Queen feels it is now time for her Reign. Although a constant learner and perfectionist, Empress is comfortable with the wisdom amassed thus far and is ready to leap forward. Bigger festival performances, music videos and full length albums are in the future, Armed with her faith and coupled with her superior performing and song writing skills, this Queen’s reign will be a long one.
