Hi, my name is Eddie. I'm 23, from the great city that is Liverpool, European Capital of Culture 2008. I love music, drinking, LFC, women and stand up comedy, in no particular order. I spend most of my time engrossed in these things, not all at the same time of course, it gets messy that way. Like most 23 year olds I spend most of my time drinking and socialising, and although holding down a full time job can sometimes get in the way of my drinking fun, (problem), I just about manage it without being sacked, although my excuses of late are getting pretty bad (can a dog really need a back transplant?)but fuck them, lifes for living.
Someone told me once that chicks dig funny people, hence the stand up comedy. Been doing it now since March 07 and its going pretty well, I've won a few competitions and done a couple of gigs for the Comedy Store in Manchester who have invited me back, so check out my comedy page for gig info, or just pop down to my next gig and laugh till a little bit of wee comes out. I never introduce myself as a stand up comedian, as the pressure of being funny one on one scares me more than 400 drunk lunatics at a King Gong night at the store, which is werid but true, now am on a para that I have to be funny in this, oh god, moving on.
I hate work, mainly because it gets in the way of me having fun, it’s the bane of my life actually, I hate working for the ‘man’ whoever he may be, damn him! My career aim is to be a Fire Fighter, only because am serving my people not some company after a profit margin, having passed all the entry tests last year it all went wrong due to their financial situation, but I am not deterred and will be re-applying come next recruitment, not looking forward having to train again though, as it means a lot less drinking, and early morning runs *good god*, how I hate early morning runs! Worth it though if it means a career worth something rather than the soul slavery am faced with otherwise *shivers*
