About Me

I've been writing music ever since I could play the Piano and Guitar at the ripe, young age of 14. My sounds are inspired mainly by acts such as Massive Attack, Delerium, LTJ Bukem and Orbital. My latest project "No Matter Where You Go.....There You Are" has been 4 years in the making and has been through many different incarnations depending on my state of mind at the time! Together with the wonderful Ash who has provided some amazing vocals to the instrumentation the album is finally nearing completion. Some of the tracks will feature appearances by some very special guest artists. As the work is completed you will all of course be able to listen and rate these tracks and info about who is featured on which tracks will be provided.....................Watch this space! Oh yeah, did I mention I play rhythm guitar in SuperJuice? check us out!!!Update!! Have just finished mixing a new stomping track called Party Thing with Chalx on MC ting! Fresher than a Fresher drinking Fresh lemonade at the Freshers Ball on a Fresh day!!

Influences: (sharp intake of breath) Massive Attack, Orbital, Underworld, Delerium, Levellers, BRA, LTJ Bukem, Duran Duran, Chilli Peppers, Kasabian, SuperJuice, Without Grace, Kaiser Chiefs, Tori Amos, The Beatles, Pete Daisy, Flipside, Trip To The Eclipse, Marko, Apex Twin, Pendulum, The Automatic and more when I think of them! I also get VERY influenced by the Fish Brothers but in a totally different way! ;-)
Sounds Like: Like so many people have said who have heard it, it's got that MattyB sound! Very ambient with fat breaks and live instruments and big subby basslines that rattle the solar plexus. Some of these tracks pay tribute to some of my favourite artists. Some of you may be confused by the wierd crossover between acoustic ballads, trip-hop and breakbeat/dnb blends but dont worry cos it's all good (I hope!).
