MyGen Profile Generator MyGen Profile Generator MyGen Profile Generator MyGen Profile Generator MyGen Profile Generator My name is Jon, I'm just short of 6 ft, I weigh 11st on a good day and 10st on a bad day (I guess I have pretty good bowel capacity!). I have brown shoulder length hair, two eyes(!), one blue and a 1/4 brown, 3/4 blue. I have minimal body fat, (under 10%) but have a decent amount of meat on me where it counts. Shoe size 10 1/2... ok, you dont need to know that!---------- I am told that 99% of the time I am one of the most mellow guys you could hope to meet but beware my temper when it rears its ugly head, especially when I'm driving!!! My passion in life is the band I play guitar for, WITHOUT GRACE. It is my "friend, my lover and my mother" (the Fast Show, suits you!), and my baby. A good buddy of mine once said that we sound like, and I quote, "the band Audioslave wanted to be, mixed with Silverchair, FooFighters and Nirvana whilst still having your own sound (if that makes sense.)" My early influences were arse kicking guitar stuff like Guns n' Roses, Extreme, Metallica, Soundgarden, Offspring, Greenday, Nirvana and FooFighters (pretty run of the mill, I know) but I cant deny my roots. One of the first records I can remember hearing as a nipper riding in the back of my parent's car was VanHalen's 1984 and Eddie's rhythm and lead work formed a lasting impression on me.---------- My other favourite thing in the world is Reading Festival. I LOVELOVELOVE it and if you don't believe me, 2005 was my tenth year running. Thats how much I love it!----------By trade I am a guitar teacher and I do my best to keep it fun and enjoyable for those I teach and will never try to impose styles or bands on my pupils if they dont want to learn them. Other means of employment during the day are grounds keeping which involves, mowing, strimming, fencing (erecting ((teehee!)) fences, not the sword fighting type), riding around on tractors, logging (Im basicaly a lumberjack!) and burning stuff. I'm good with my hands (ladies, take note :) ), I love working outdoors because of the fresh air and excersise and would probably hang myself with my necktie if I ever had to resort to working in a shitty air conditioned office sitting in a chair getting a bad back and square eyes from looking at a computer screen all day. Wednesday evenings I perform a little acoustic cabaret with Markus, singer from WithoutGrace at Pizza Express (how classy, right?!) in Camberley (soooo classy!) so if you ever fancy a quattro formaggio, drop of pinot and some mellow accoustic jazz vibes whilst you dine, you know where to come!---------- So thats me! Now and again you might see me out in guildford sipping on a Guinness in one of the many open mic nights, slamming tequilla with my band and associates at sordid and depraved establishments such as Kings Head, Farenheit, Chancellors and Five n Lime (chav-esq I know but lovely barmaids!) or sometimes thoroughly off my face at the Agincourt in Camberley (appologies if you've had the unfortunate experience of me dribbling on you!), but try not to go to the Ag too often due to the DJ's inability of ever changing the play list! Grrrrr........
