THE DIRTY SOUNDS was a Street Punk band from Moscow. Their sounds influnced by american street punk like Rancid, Dropkick Myrphys etc; classical english punk(the clash etc) and oi-music(the oppressed etc) and also american oldschool hardcore. Band have made lo-fi demo and made many shows with such band like Bouncing Soles, Unkind Revolt, No Heads, etc ..Band had been involved in Moscow undeground anti-nazi punk/hardcore sceen. So they had plaeyd many shows with hardcore bands: Prov.Lineika, What We Feel,x HARAM x, CT2WTP, etc...have made supporting for russian tours of Teckleberry, A.C.K, The Beans, Divisive...also supported moscow gigs of Mister X (Hrodno), Fuck It All(Minsk), Devil Shoots Devil(Minsk)(all Belarussia) , Nechego Horoshego(PTZ), Bucaneros(SPB),Engage At Will(SPB), Dottie Danger(SPB),Sudnii den', The Klowns(both Kirov). The band was loved and supported either by skinheads or punx or hardcore kids...also had played with mod-influenced moscow garage punk, mod revival bands like The Burglars and Hell-O-Hill and have made some gigs with ramones style punk bands like Cretin Boys. Band Activity starts in 2004, live gigs starts in 2005 and the last show was played in febrary 2007 in Saint Petersburg with Skalpel and Trojan Sound System. Now The Dirty Sounds are disband, lead vocal and bass player now are playing in another Moscow street punk band Give'em The Gun.
