Jesus Christ where do you start? Most people think of the most recent films they have seen and write them down, like all of the people on myspace that think Napoleon Dynomite was their favorite movie of all time. It just came out, a movie needs to age and be watched over and over again through the course of years before it can be 'your favorite of all time.' I love horror films I've been watching them since I was four years old. The scariest of my youth was Halloween. I am also a fan of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Alice Sweet Alice, Last House on the Left, The Exorcist, Psycho, Peeping Tom, The Wicker Man, Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Zombi, Friday the 13th, Terror Train, April Fool's Day, and so many more to even count. My favorite horror film director is Dario Argento, simply because Suspiria is one of my favorite films which I have seen over and over again during the course of years. His other films that I love are Phenomena, Deep Red, Tenebrea, Opera, Two Evil Eyes (which was also directed by Romero), inferno, Bird with the crystal plumage, and cat o nine tales. His earlier work was much better than what he put out in the ninties. Horror is my first true love, but I'm also a fan of Kubrick - having seen all of his films with the exception of Fear and Desire. I like Cronenberg, some lynch, david fincher, spike jonze, micheal gondry, and chris cunningham to name off a few. There is no end to the films I have liked, this is why I decided to get a degree in Cinema.
I don't have cable because I hate television but TV SHOWS on DVD are different. I love Arrested Development, Buffy the vampire slayer, Dead Like Me, Firefly, Simpsons, South Park, Reno 911, Sealab, Home Movies, Scooby Doo, Dawson's Creek (yeah, what!), and I like Six Feet Under, Strangers With Candy, and damn I know there's more I just can't think of them right now.
The Fall, The Plague, The Rebel, Notes From The Underground, Myth of Sysiphrous, Lunar Park, Rules of Attraction, Haunted, Survivor, film studies books, and anything that will add to my vocabulary or ideology.
