About Me

"A little guitar... A little atmosphere... And it wails like this"! I love to laugh and to make other people laugh. I'm a chronic optimist and usually in a pretty good mood. I love to eat. I'm hungry right now. I know one chord progression, but love to play guitar and write songs. The songs always sound best if Dahlia or Dave sings a groovy harmony over the chorus.
About ten o'clock on a foggy evening in late autumn, I turned a side street in Hollywood, and with that fortuitousness which always surprises one in retrospect, colided with the girl of my dreams. Dahlia. She married me and she rocks. We have three cats, C.J., Gabby and Nikki. Gabby is very mean to Nikki. The newest member of our family is the elusive Keeli bird. She's the best dog ever and she has a crazy, devil eye.

I love my work. I am a licensed psychotherapist and the Treatment Director of the Anne Sippi Clinics. We treat adults recovering from psychotic disorders. We've been doing some amazing work together to feed and provide a little hope for the homeless of Los Angeles. We try to change the way people think about mental illness and homelessness. Check out our Connections link.
I love to sing and be the center of attention, so I’ve been in a few bands. One of them was kinda popular. Touring the country was an incredible education. We just signed another record deal in Australia. Go figure. I own the worlds largest collection of ceramic big eyed dogs and cats. One by one, they steal my sanity.
Best Wishes,
Simpleton

Books:

Each smallest act of kindness reverberates across great distances and spans of time, affecting lives unknown to the one whos generous spirit was the source of this good echo, because kindness is passed on and grows each time it's passed, until a simple courtesy becomes an act of selfless courage years later and far away. Likewise, each small act of meanness, each expression of hatred, each act of evil.
