He experienced many hardships growin up such as a broken home-being raised by a single mother, not havin enough to eat all of the time, having substandard clothing, having to wonder if there would be lights would be on in the morning, Food stamp, Section 8, and seeing his mother hurt because she couldnt provide for her children the way she wanted to. Having going through this has given Shawn Doe that hustler's mentality to achieve every goal he sets. "Just like lil Wayne say, Money is the Motivation". "It may sound shallow, but when you're not use to having everything you need and want, you should have that mentality to go and get it. I'll do whatever it takes, without going against my morals, to provide for my family". Money is the unversal language. The talented Rapper/Producer, Shawn Doe, has been writing rhymes since the age of nine. He started dabbling in production in 1998, where he assisted in the production of Kontraband's (His first group consisting of Ness Lee, Geist, DaKapo, and shawn Doe{then known as Abzolute}) Demo. Ness Lee(known then as Nessesary) and and Shawn Doe would later detach from the group to form a seperate entity known as Point Blank. He assisted in production with Ness Lee creating Point Blank's first EP entitled "Abzolutely Nessesary" released 2000. Shawn Doe linked up with J-Real while in the "A". They Produced the Smashing debut "Trouble Man" In 2002, which was inspired by Marvin Gayes album also intitled "Trouble Man". The album demanded respect with street hits such as "DontchaKnow No Good", and "Giving Up". L.T.O was forced to put the music on hold so that Shawn Doe and J-Real could get their hustle on and get their lives back in order. Shawn Doe took a tour of Cali where he hooked up with the notorious rapper/producer from CHI- town, Nicabus. J-Real, Nicabus and Shawn Doe deamed to be a killer combination. Together they produced the "Charge it to the Game" LP, and later that year Producing. "The Gridlock"LP masterminding some of the hardest tracks know to the Rap gam.
