Born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, Kydd Joe stepped on the scene as a DJ in 1992. He started out as a production director at WFXA, a local radio station in Augusta, Georgia. He worked in the field of production for about two years before he became an on air personality. Once he was able to get his voice heard, his popularity began to rise. As time progressed he began to move up the corporate ladder and take on more responsibilities. He also had the opportunity to spin in clubs like Touch of Class and Club 706.After working for about 5 years for WFXA, Kydd Joe progressed to another local radio station WPRW Power 107.7. Not only is Kydd Joe an on air personality and mix show DJ; he is the largest mobile DJ in the CSRA. He is known for his DJ talent at college parties, wedding receptions, proms and hosting several concerts. Kydd Joe is also known for being the official DJ for the Power 107 graduation party.On July 25, 2005, Kydd Joe made a big appearance on BET's Rap City: Tha Basement as the official DJ for the day. This show unveils some of the hottest DJs in the world and shows all of the hottest videos as well.Among all these accomplishments, Kydd Joe also has a street marketing promotion company.
