Formed in 2003 ‘The Retro’ are a four piece indie/rock band from Leicestershire. Since forming they have performed material written by themselves in various locations, accumulating fans as far away as Manchester and London whilst continuing to be enjoyed and respected by fans in their home town of Market Harborough. The Retro have been in the recording studio on several occasions to create a compilation of their most favoured songs striving to achieve the sound and passion they show live. The boys cite a number of bands as influences on their music including ‘The Stone Roses,’ ‘The Who,’ ‘The Clash’ and ‘Oasis’ amongst others. Live, the band has an aura of destiny and self belief about them. They mean every note they play and every word they sing. This, along with the bands on stage chemistry brings to their audience a confident delivery of compelling lyrics and exciting music.
