About Me

I laugh loudly. I laugh Often! I've got an imagination. I have got an imagination.
It's a long time since I flipped the typing teacher off and told the Assistant Principal that my name was Shannon Dougherty.
Inevitably, I discover music and pop-culture phenomena about two years after it was 'hip' or 'hot.' IE: I've never seen an episode of LOST and my dad knew and appreciated Eminem way before I realized he was white. I hadn't an inkling that Ibiza was the world's biggest sex/drug saloon.
I'm a nervous laugher, the girl who giggles at funerals and confrontation.
I've had a problem with mortality and the concept of 'forever' since I was three. But lately, I've started believing in the possibility that my Lhasa Apso, Quimby, was a musician in a past life. (You ought to see the intensity and appreciation he gives The Fiery Furnaces.) This gives me hope in reincarnation.
My best girlfriend, who lives in Denver and works at the same company as me, and I have a tip jar that contains drawings of blank checks from big corporations and people like you. This means that are beginning to fund our first independent feature and we WILL accept your company's taxable donations in the form of (1) high-def camera, (2) Mac Powerbooks, (1) Studio Lighting Kit, and (1) DAT. Deliver us from Stepford.
..

Heroes:

Myca. She's the sister I never had. She's farming her own Emo. That's why I love her. Irreverent, ballsy, beautiful, and super-talented, she owns the best cackle ever.
