Don't talk about it, be about it ...

About Me

Hmmm ... Always hard to talk about yourself. I guess the top 3 things I would want anyone to know about me is:1. I'm genuine and classy and, yes, I'm a smart one. I may not be quick to get your jokes but I'll surprise you with my intelligence and charm in a real conversation. I can hold one with the best of them.2. I admire the following qualities in a person: honesty, an open mind, one who listens, compassion, a high work ethic, ability to forgive, motivation, thougtfulness, organization, neatness.3. I want to learn: to become a more patient person, to "let go" more often, to accept my shortcomings and failures more easily, to not take certain things for granted, to realize I'll never own a crystal ball ... And, in the future, I am very anxious learn about motherhood, to experience the entire beautiful process.

My Interests

MMA, boating, exercise, art and design, animals, children, new experiences, learning.

I'd like to meet:

Those who are honest and real ... And passionate about someone or something in their lives.

Music:

RnB and HipHop first and foremost. Or any song that has the ability to emerge an emotion or touch my soul by way of lyrics or sound.

Movies:

Barely watch them. They've gotta keep me intrigued or make me laugh. But still my college favorite is "Friday". And "The Notebook" ... Because that's the kind of love we all want to find in our lives.

Television:

International Fight League on Fox Sports Net, Grey's Anatomy, documentaries on fascinating subjects, NBC world nightly news, The Office, Three's Company on TVLand, Cribs.

Books:

Love looking at design books ... Interior, graphic, product, whatever.

Heroes:

Anyone has the potential to be my hero. Most of mine are probably everyday people. This says it all: When we look at a statue of someone great, we think they've got something we don't. We are trained to think that only a tiny percentage of us have the stuff it takes to be a hero. Not many of us will cure any diseases or slay any dragons, but every single one of us, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US, is called to be a king, a queen, a hero in our ordinary lives. We don't build statues to worship the exceptional life, we build them to remind ourselves what is possible in our own.
