About Me

.. CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE THE NEW WEBER BAND EP!
No stranger to the Chicago music scene, southside native Al Weber has been showcasing his singer/songwriting throughout Chicago for the past four years. After finally forming a band in March 2005, the music immediately took on a different direction from the traditional latte-drenched singer/songwriter sound. Coffee cups were knocked off the tables from brother Andy Weber's powerful keyboard hooks and the booming rhythm section of Greg Skelly (drums) and Brian Spagnolo (bass), forcing the music into larger Chicago venues like House of Blues, Park West, Metro, Schubas, Double Door, and Martyrs. 2005 saw the band showcasing at Chicago’s Mobfest and Indianapolis’ Midwest Music Summit. In early 2006, Weber Band recorded their debut self-titled EP at Gravity Studios with producer Jay Marino. It was released to a capacity crowd at Wise Fools Pub (Chicago) in August 2006.
Their music can best be compared to.........
Buy a CD. Come to a show. Download a song off this website. Hear it for yourself. It’s OK to like local original music. You might just find that some local stuff is just as good as radio play or better, and far more enjoyable than those cover bands you've seen 100 times.
