Although Ben never planned to be, or even had time to notice back in those years, Ben Liebrand proved to be one of the most influencial DJ's in the Dutch dance scene. His non-stop mixed radio show "In The Mix" which started in 1983, spawned a whole generation of DJ's who now are among the best in the world. To name but a few, Armin van Buuren, Olav Basoski, Ferry Corsten and Tiësto more....

Ben Liebrand has released a wide range of mixes covering his absolute roots in a collection of rare 12" version in master quality on the series "Grand 12 Inches", a series of Oldskool 80's and 90's mixes, and a series of Annual Grandmixes, all of which can be ordered from his website.
