About Me

I wish I was more helpful, but I so often ignore the beggar on the street corner. I wish people viewed me as generous, but so often my friends ask why I spend so little. I wish I could live my life according to the Beatitudes, but I see my self falling short so often. I wish I could influence the world, but so often I have no influence among my co-workers. I wish that people saw me as welcoming, but I am often told I'm snobbish. I wish I could make a group of people laugh, but so often I feel most comfortable being out on the edges. I wish my life was balanced, but I find myself not even smelling the roses. I wish . . .
