Band Members: Rising from the ashes of two prominent South Coast rock bands, Different Day are probably Hampshire's best kept secret. Hailing from Portsmouth and forming in early 2006. Quietly getting on with gigging around the UK, Different Day are now making people sit up and take notice ,and it's no wonder, with an energetic stage performance to compliment their own brand of no nonsense hard hitting rock.
Different Day have been compared musically to everybody from ‘Biffy Clyro, The FooFighters , Feeder, and even Cream', which is a reasonably fair assessment. Their own individual brand of rock has gained them a myriad of contacts and fans, amongst them Tom Newman (producer-Tubular Bells)who has invited them to his studio in Ireland to record several tracks.
So far DD have supported The Hedrons, Steriogram and The Black Velvets as well as headlining this years WhiteAir 2007 (I.O.W. Extreme Sports Festival).
DD have also signed to Oxford based indie label 'Electric Breeze Records' and are releasing an Ep followed by a download single in Jan/Feb 2008.
Different Day are:
Phil Stoker - Vocals
Chris Pitt - Guitar/Vocals
Squidge - Bass
Kev Burke - Drums
