Sasa "The Knitting Poet"

...Hold out your hand as I offer up this...simply one tear that I snatched from the heavens, for you

About Me

Just call me Sasa. My little Sis gave me that name when she was just learning how to talk. Seperates me from the rest of the Lisa's out there. Of course I love to knit, and think every one ought to do it. I'm a mom with 5 very interesting children. They are the best! I have Multiple Sclerosis. I define it, it doesn't define me. I haven't worked outside the home in 5 yrs. Then again with 5 children, that's a job all in its self. I have been married for 23 years now...my husband introduced me to these mountains, and I could no-longer live without them than I could him. I love Jesus. He is my Rock and my fortress. Yes I make mistakes...but I've learned to ask God for forgiveness. The bible says that God throws our sins as far as the east is from the west, and buries them in the deepest sea. How far is the East from the West? As far as one nail scarred hand is from the other. I write poetry...Some of it good and some maybe not so...You be the judge. I am a normal person who laughs, cries and gets angry. I like me and find no need to be anyone else. You are welcome here. Say hello from time to time and let me know you were here.

My Interests

Knitting is my passion. When stress is at a max, it soothes all my frayed edges. Of course I Love all things needle, and there's nothing like a good book during a storm. I'm a poet at heart. Emotions well-up and it goes on paper. I love growing things, especially when nature gives my garden a boost. However, I'm not much on weeding. My children are the light of my life, and they keep me going. Jesus is my foundation.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who loves to knit or craft. Anyone who loves poetry, appreciates the written word, and, or writes. ANYONE, WHO LOVES JESUS! All of my heroes who I haven't met.
