Zangy Comment GraphicsA while ago i tried to alter what id written on here and instead managed to erase everything....like a fool i tell thee..like a fool! like a fool! ive been meaning to update it for a while so i thank you for your patience during this essential site maintenance. check back as often (or not)as you desire. i can hand on heart make you this promise, and it is that i will get round to filling this bit out eventually............IN the meantime if you lend me your ear i can reveal another moderately interesting nugget of information in relation to the nations favourite prawn star. in the first week of may im taking part in a sponsored skydive in aid of the Meningitis Trust. some of you will already be aware that it was to this disease i lost my first daughter Nicole at the age of 10 months over what was her first Christmas...........OBVIOUSLY monies raised aren't going to help my little girl. she's in a better place than all of us as i believe the big man upstairs had other plans for her. however meningitis is still claiming many lives (teens and young adults aswell as babies), the actual volume of cases are generally greatly underestimated by joe public who think "it wont happen to me", symptoms are often mistaken for mild illness by parents and it's still being misdiagnosed by doctors at times (dont even get me started on that soapbox). loads more research is needed and the Trust supports affected families. to put it plainly, its a bloody good cause!..................... THE long and short of it being that i need to raise 500 notes and yep youve guessed it im not even past the 100 mark. ive got a month to raise and collect the money as it has to be taken on the day of the jump. this isnt me begging every passing stranger to my page for their hard earned. moreover its directed primarily at friends/acquaintances that maybe i dont see so often. by luck they may just happen to be cruising by my page,and wont mind buying one less bottle at weekend for a worthy proverbial.......................
