TEAM MEMBERS
OrT has been a DJ since his 16 - around 1998-1999. Shitloads of parties where he usually took care of the more 'alternative' side of commercial partymusic. Drawn to digital workmethods, plastic knobs, flashing leds, computerscreens and foreign operating systems, he didn't so much focus his deejaying carreer on vinyljuggling live, but also spent a big amount of his time in the warmth of crt- and tft-monitors. His daddy bought him his first little mixtable at age 15 and with old audio-equip, the tinkering began!
AVoid is our little man raised in the countryside. Watching cows, lots of trees, remote controlled cars and flashy Nintendo-screens he developed a strange interest for movement, composition and colour. At his twelfth birthday he asked for a camera to play with moving image, and fed the lust to shape and bend. By discovering the power of flash and computer-assisted-real-time-image-mixing he joined forces with FreeJays to uplift the crowd even more with supercalifragilisticexpialidocious visual candy. Anything that can produce or bend moving image is suitable for AVoid's set-up. He will splice, dice and katapult video on the split of the second to the music by the dj's. Very spectacular, we do say so ourself.
The most famous dj in Ghent's student night-life must be Djuvenial. At every party with some leverage, Djuvenial was taking care of the music - bringing a fine selection of electro, stylehopping mashups and partytunes. He was one of the first resident in Stereo. Since then he swiftly built up a nice visited list with tasty names as Decadance, Vooruit, Tijuana, ICC, Culture Club and so forth. After touring around the country with OrT in 2006 - 2007, he officially teamed up with Freejays sinds second half of 2007!
