Music:

Ah music, the soundtrack to our lives. A lot of Metal! Opeth, In Flames, Children of Bodom, Dimmu Borgir, Behemoth, Katatonia, Darkane, Agalloch, Necrophagist, Yyrkoon, Phaze 1, DETHKLOK!!! Vehemence, Diabolical Masquerade, Disarmonia Mundi, Novembers Doom, Strapping Young Lad, Behold... The Arctopus, Unexpect, Disarmonia Mundi, Daylight Dies, world music, old school and underground hip-hop (the intelligent kind), classical, jazz. Classic and modern rock; Incubus, AFI, Rush, Dream Theatre, The Music, The Mars Volta, Muse, Dredge, Gnarls Barkley, Led Zeppelin, Jefferson Starship/Airplane, Jimmy Hendrix, Joe Satriani. Electronic music: Break beats, Jungle, D&B, Trance, House, Hard House. Honestly, I appreciate anything that has real talent and intelligence in it. It can even be different forms of pop, so long as art is present; art that isn't pre-chewed and tasteless.

Movies:

The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, What The Bleep Do We Know, The Secret, I Heart Huckabees, Eternal Sunshine on the Spotless Mind, Fight Club, Transformers: The Movie, The Fifth Element, The Professional, THX 1138, Amalie, The City of Lost Children, Napoleon Dynomite, Garden State, The Last Samurai, AI, Super Troopers, Hackers, Dune. Lots of documentaries, both political and historical.

Television:

is for suckers... Except cartoons...

Books:

Lately, I've been listening to audio books such as How to Master Your Time, Certifiable Sales Person, Patton on Leadership, First, Break All the Rules, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Good to Great, etc... It pays to invest in knowledge! The entire Dune Series, Harry Potter Series, The Dark Tower Series, The Lord of the Rings series. The Story of Civilization series (William Durant), Star Wars books, Star Trek books. Any anthropological, philosophical and spiritual books. What can I say; I'm a sucker for epic tales. Books own! Although it's not a book (or series of books) so to speak, the Red Star series of graphic novels owns too! Oh, very importantly; 'What Dreams May Come'. The last is one of the books that I have found to be one of the most influencial that I've read in recent years.

Heroes:

All the actual people that take the extra step(s) further to help another person or entity with absolutely no selfish intentions.
