Born february 16, 1982 . Six foot three .Brown hair, blue eyes .Long walks on the beach and all that shit.....anyway;anyhow....began making music at the tender age of 14 (though those who knew me then could probably claim that they had no clue about it) and still press onward with my pipe- dream of international stardom .To be honest, I'd settle to be up there amongst the simply respectable, teetering on the edge of "Yeah, i heard that name somewhere before." and "That shit changed my life." We'll see, I suppose.
I grew tired quickly of making beats on some shit program and decided to enlist the help of musicians Alex "Dutch" Wolfis and Jason Walker to form the PAPER SOLES collective. Though our attempts to all be creative heads eventually killed us, the things I learned and the music we made was an amazing contribution to what you hear.
I still continue to produce all my own music on a computer program with live bass lines and irreplaceable guest artists such as my brother QUINN TIDUS, MATTHEW COLE, AMY SEVERSON, DISTANT (my Boston connection), DAVEY ORIGINAL(my musical A-alike), my genius engineer IAN GORMAN, KEITH KURTIS, KIMBERLY MASON, ROBIN ''The Colonel" CLEGG, and even my own father Rev. KEITH TITUS. My 'shit' program now offers me the luxury of picking and choosing what only I see fit which may or may not be a good thing given that my music knowledge isn't quite up to par, however, I've never heard a complaint with my beats. I try to add as much ACTUAL music and musical sense to it as I can.
I WILL STRESS THIS.....alot of what you hear lyrically is very tongue-in-cheek and I poke alot of fun at modern hip-hop. So if you do hear something that you think is out of character you should actually give it a real listen. I focus alot on the lyrics. Anyone who knows me knows that what I say in my music is simply ME and nothing else, though, I admit that I struggle everyday to be honest with myself and others concerning who I am and what it is I'm trying to do. I hope it shines through in my music.
IN JUNE OF '06 I MOVED TO SAN FRANCISCO TO PURSUE MUSIC FURTHER. WE'LL SEE WHAT HAPPENS . . .
