About Me

There is a fine line between genius and insanity.

My Interests

Reading an incredible book I can get lost in, writing short stories and epic poems, great films that I don't want to end, the Beatles who's music never ceases to fascinate me.

I'd like to meet:

Olivia Newton-John. There are many many others, including my favorite actors and musicians, but Olivia is the only person who I have had a crush on since I was 8 years old.

I am a lifelong democrat but I actually love this guy Ron Paul. He's a politician who actually wants to run this country the way our forefathers (the guys who wrote the constitution) wanted it to be run. Sounds good to me! I wish there were more politicians like him.

Listen to this Irish girl and her hilarious prank phone call. I laughed my ass off!

This cracks me up

Gotta love the annoying devil

Check out this vid of a woman faking a fall after being smacked in the back of the head with a folder. I'm sure the idea is that she is going to try and sue the woman that assaulted her... but I hope the judge or jury sees this vid and the woman that faked the fall gets sued instead. It's absolutely outrageous! And the Mayor is an idiot for saying she got hit in "the eye". People don't really have eyes in the back of their heads!

Music:

Favorite band(s) of all time is the Beatles and Iron Maiden. A tie, except Maiden is still alive, performing, incredible and I've seen them in concert 3 times! My favorite genre is 80's heavy metal. Bands in my favorites include Danzig, Guns & Roses, WASP, Manowar and H.I.M., who's music I only discovered a year ago and I am so thankful for that. They are incredible! I listen to all kinds of music; everything from Techno to Disco, Johnny Cash and even the French singer Alizee. I can't understand the words but she certainly gets my attention. You can find the rest of my favorite groups by looking at my friends list. All the music groups/singers are people who I grew up listening to. I love em all, their music is great it they got me through some tough years growing up.Be sure to check out my pal Bob's band at MySpace.com/TheClarences.The last concert I went to was The Red Hot Chili Peppers. They rocked!

Movies:

I like all kinds of films, but I love GOOD films. Always wanted to be a critic. The 3 greatest westerns of all time are Little Big Man, The Outlaw Josey Wales and Once Upon a Time in the West with The Good, The Bad and The Ugly coming up 4th. John Carpenter films, but only The Fog, The Thing, Halloween and Escape from New York. Mob films like Snatch, Sexy Beast, King of New York, Goodfella's, Once Upon a Time in America and of course Scarface. Anything by Quentin Tarentino. Favorite musicals include Hair (probably my favorite movie of all time), Camelot, Grease, My Fair Lady and Tommy. Comedies include The Jerk, Bulworth, The Big Lebowski, Hero (with Dustin Hoffman) and Caveman (with Ringo Starr). Other favorites are Jaws, Marathon Man, the Rocky films, Taxi Driver, Ghost Story, Sharkey's Machine, The Highlander, Ran, Quest for Fire, The Warriors, old Jackie Chan movies and probably the greatest romance ever Somewhere in Time. Like I said, my choices of films are very varied! My favorite actors of all time have got to be Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman, Nicolas Cage, Clint Eastwood and Christopher Walken. The downfall of movies nowadays is that they are mostly all remakes, sequels and movies based on TV shows. Can't anyone come up with an original idea? Or are they going to leave it up to me?

Television:

I watch way more than I should, but lately there have been some really good TV shows being made. I love The Soprano's, The Shield, Battlestar Galactica, Deadwood, Prison Break, Boston Legal, and others. Some really good new shows are Heroes and Jericho.

Books:

Anything by Robert Jordan or Terry Goodkind. These guys really are the Masters of their genre. I also love to read books about historical events and people.

Heroes:

I don't really have any heroes, however, I went to bed with David Letterman and woke up with Howard Stern for over a decade, and I definitely appreciate them for that.

Poem - A Sinking Ship

When I wrote this I had two goals.  I wanted to write a poem that took a relationship from its blissful beginning to its tragic end, and somehow incorporate it with my experience working on the o...
