I was born and raised a country boy near Lone Rock, Iowa. Through hard and smart work, today I have opportunities to rub shoulders with the rich and famous through an elite organization called the World President's Organization. The YPO / WPO is comprised from cream of the crop business leaders, giving me opportunity to network with power brokers and world leaders.
A few years ago, I decided it would be prudent to have a record of my life set down. Not only for my family and future generations, but to impart valuable life lessons instilled in me by my upstanding, God-fearing father, Rudy Tietz.
Canadian Author Alice C. Bateman consented to writing the 'story' of my life and times, and insisted on calling it One American Dreamer. My most frequent comment as she wrote the book was to the effect that the current chapter had taken me right back to that day in my life. I don't know how Alice captured my life so accurately, but she did, in a highly readable book that encompasses not only my own life, but the history of the United States.

If you read One American Dreamer, although there's no guarantees, if you pay attention and follow some of the paths I took, and some fundamental rules of conduct in business, you will benefit as I and others have.
