~A-BLESS~
Being a puerto rican rapper at the age 24 A Bless, was raised in the South Bronx area of New York. It was through the ways of the street that the young man went from a boy to a man overnight. Not having a father, he turned to the streets to teach him how to survive. Like many young men, he found solace amidst the poverty and ruin of his community through ghetto poetry and the work of rappers like Big Daddy Kane and Slick Rick. By the late 90's, A Bless got his first shot at recording through his relationship with fellow Bronx rapper, Fat Joe. He hit the studio daily to work with producers like Cool and Dre, Minnesota, Lord Finesse and Buckwild. One opportunity after the other started happening and before he knew it, A Bless was working on Kay Slay's Street Sweepers Vol. 1 with Fat Joe and Remy Ma for the remix to the single, "Take A Look At My Life". Fat Joe was instrumental in executive producing the self-titled EP,"A Bless". Now, A Bless has learned the ins and outs of the music biz and found a second home; he's currently working on his independent debut with the blazing hot Bay Area label, Romp't Out Music, collabos with artists Too Short, B Legit, Vital, Keak Da Sneak and Lady Unique. A Bless is a true talent that comes few and far between. So, let's keep our ears to the street.
