In 2008, FirstGlance embarks on its second decade of filmmakers, events and an online presence to create the first real world and online festival in the world.

FirstGlance Film Festival Philadelphia 11 is scheduled for October 2008 FirstGlance is the only truly indie film festival in Philadelphia and one of the few events on the East Coast that enables, exhibits, nurtures and promotes truly indie films and filmmakers to audiences hungry for alternative entertainement.
In 2008, all Official Selections are eligible for DIY self distribution and online download distribution through our new network of distribution companies.
Feature and short screenwriters will also have an opportunity to be a part of the festivities this year,the winners to be announced in early January!! Our next writing competitions open Feb 11 2008!!
