Liar's Pendulum is a psychological thriller set in the fictitious city of Johanna during the next Great Depression. The main character, Alaric Almalquilar, a.k.a. Johnny Joe Blue, (David Winning), is an ex-cop-turned-private investigator/ bounty hunter who is on the run from just about everyone. He is about to get his hands on top-secret, stolen research technology, which he needs to get to a benevolent order of scientists before it gets into the wrong hands. Alaric is joined by Svetlana (Niki Notarile), a crossbow-toting female assassin; Punto Dhari (Anthony D. Stevenson), a brutal assassin with the attitude of Samuel L. Jackson and the style of Lenny Kravitz; and Czar Lazarus (Joey Klein) who is a psychopathic and sadistic warlord and would like nothing more than to see Alaric..s head on a salver.
