I'm a Guitarist with glam-retro-hair-metal band "Pretty Tied Up", and a songwriter & session bassist.Previously one of the Founder members of AOR band "Passion Street" which I later left due to dysfunctionality within the band. I then set up a record label that I ran for a few years after getting a huge investment, and signed a handful of bands until the demise of the label when our investors pulled the plug. So after all that shit, I decided to go back to where my heart really lies in writing & performing.As well as being in PTU I teach guitar In schools & privately and play bass for a couple of function bands, often to be seen at such times in full 70's regalia - not whilst teaching of course - - that'd just be plain mad!-- but now I come to think of it most of my students think I am mad, maybe it's an idea I'll work on, mmmm!! And I currently write & record stuff in my studio for Pretty Tied Up.Played some cool gigs in previous bands (TARGA / STRIKLY WIKKID / EMPYRE / PASSION STREET) over the years including slots with Shy, No Sweat, Toyah Wilcox, Peter Frampton, Brighton Rock, Aces High, Little Angels, Kooga, Paul Quinn (Saxon).Serious Anti-Capitalist, Anarchist and (dormant) initiated Occultist - Start talking to me about any of that shit & I'll go on for days (following on from that, I can Often Be seen talking to myself cos everyone has walked off or died days previously!)I love rock, AOR & 80's Metal if its got a melodic element to it, but i've also got blues in my blood and love the old, honest real earthy stuff with a real atmosphere about it.Sometimes come across as being a bit aloof if you don't know me that well and have a dry sense of humor. Passionate about my music, books and the esoteric. Posessed by a Heavy-Yet-Melodic Demon. Grew Up In Liverpool & South Of England.
