If my life were a book...

About Me

For a long time I have held delusions of grandure and now I can create a world of my own (every budding dictator's dream). My dreams of world domination link right into my career; can't tell you what my career is according to the man on the tele, he says all you nasties out there will figure me out, hunt me down and steal my personality or something (techies ruin it for everyone) I used to tell people that but not any more, see above. , I work in Secondary education (terrifying eh?) and I live in "sunny" South Wales. Things I love: My fiance, my job, my home and the idea that anything could happen at any time (to list but a few). Things I hate: Paper work, telesales, using women to advertise embarassing products (like incontinent pads) and people who don't take responsibility for their own actions.

My Interests

Guitar, Piano, rugby, footy (occasionally the televised type) hockey, reading which makes me think and making people think that I think might be slightly crazy.a href="http://www.profilegrafix

I'd like to meet:

from this country are; Billy Connely. I've loved his stand-up for as long as I can remember being allowed to watch it. He's a storyteller and I also love that in a person. Tom Baxter to talk about his music and the pains of touring for such a long time (check him out, he's super!), Tony Blair to ask him why the hell he thinks it's a good idea to make people work until they're practically dead, and J.K. Rowling for obvious geeky reasons.

Music:

Well, well, well, where to begin?Tom Baxter obviously! He's got elements of Jeff Buckley, Neil Simon and anyone else who can write fantastic, meanigful lyrics, with beautiful melodies.asfunction:playTune,0 Zepplin, U2, The Beatles and other gods of popular culture.Update! Super loving Jane Taylor. She's a beautifully warbly young lady who's voice could sing the birds out of the trees. Check her out on Myspace ladies and Gents. Also up there, the Swansea singing siren, Scotty.

Movies:

You have to appreciate 80's classics like Wierd Science and Princess Bride. On the other hand, top, re-watchable movies have to be The Replacements with Keanu, Moulin Rouge (Baz lurman) and The Boondock Saints (terrible Irish accents but a great watch). .. width="425" height="350" ..

Television:

Scrubs. I've developed a terrible addiction: Stargate. I think I need some sort of intervention. Also loving Heroes at the the moment. I'm wondering if the fragmented plot line is going to drive me insane, but at the moment, it's just making wish I'd discovered I had super powers.

Books:

Have read all Sherlock Holmes sagas and loved every moment. I'm a bit of a fan of books so where do I start? Well, depending on your mental or physical age, I could suggest the Alex Rider series which follows a teenage spy and is just jolly good fun. For the more mature, I guess I'd point you in the direction of someone else who can give you advice, because I'm never going to be mature and if you're into beautifully written fiction, with a touch of fantasy, Try anything by Cornelia Funke.

Heroes:

My parents. They're 2 of the best people I could wish to meet and they've given their time and energy ( and fairly often more than that) to anyone who needed them, whenever they were needed. That's heroic behaviour; getting up on a Sunday morning at 6am because a lady from down the road needs a lift to the airport and she has no one else to take her.
