----------I Believe in God, and I believe the ony way to God is through faith in Jesus Christ.I have been recenty been examining my own beliefs in God to become a better prepared witness for Him. First off, I am totally thankful to God and count myself blessed That I was raised by loving Christan parents, grew up attending Church, and received a Christian education through High School. I accepted Christ as my Savior by prayer when I was 4 years old. As an adult I now am working to fully examine and fully comprehend the foundations of my belief, so that I can be better prepared to provide a witness to others when the opporitunity comes forth.One of the greatest reasons for my belief in God is the evidence of His Creation. Psalm 19:1 states that "The Heavens declare the Glory of the Lord, and the firmanent shows his handiwork." and Romans 1:20 States "For since the Creation of the World, his invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead, so that they" (mankind) "are without excuse."I believe that looking at the Universe, the Earth, mankind and all living things, the unwritten laws and principles of right and wrong, concience, birth, human intelligence and capabilities, beauty, life supporting conditions found on Earth and found nowhere else in the Universe, I think that it is impossible that all of this all just evolved or come from nothing with no divine design, or out of a "big bang". There is just too much evidence of a created design in nature and in human life, and human intelect. From Thermodynamics and Physics, the laws of conservation of energy state that "Energy can neither be created nor destroyed" and the Law of Conservation of Matter: "During an ordinary chemical change, there is no detectable increase or decrease in the quantity of matter" or in other words mater cannot be created nor destroyed, but just changes form. Therefore all matter and energy in the universe MUST have been created at some point by a Supernatural force, which I believe is God. Something cannot just come out of nothing. Even if there was a "big bang" that started it all, Someone must have created the matter and energy that began the big bang, it could not have just come out of nothing according to the conservation laws.Secondly I believe that the Bible is the complete, truthful and completely accurate word of God divinely provided and is our guidance for life. Many scientists have tried to disprove the credibility of the Bible, but the more that science tries to disprove the Bible as true, the more that scientific evidence is uncovered in the course actually proves the Bible to be true. Josh McDowell is a good example of someone who set out to disprove the Bible, and instead became converted to Christianity. (A bit of information about his quest for truth can be found at http://www.josh.org/apologetics/skeptical.asp ).I believe in Jesus as my Savior and the only possible way for Mankind to receive forgiveness for sin, since the Bible clearly states that faith in Jesus is the only possible way to receive forgiveness from God for our sins and to receive eternal life and since I believe that the Bible is the true word of God.I believe that God has revealed himself to mankind through the evidence of changed lives of those who have put their faith in Jesus, from Jesus' deciples, to the Apostle Paul-who agressively pursued and persecuted early Christians before his miraculous vision of Jesus and subsequent Conversion, to Nicky Cruz-A tough and dangerous Gang Member from New York who converted to Christianity through the grace of God and the fearless witness of Pastor David Wilkerson (I read the Cross & The Switchblade Christian Comic book as a boy), to Josh McDowell, and many others, and through the grace that God has shown me in my own life in providing for my needs and delivering me through many difficult trials. Here are some responses to address the myth that "There is no Evidence that Jesus rose from the Dead":-"Jesus Really was dead"..... This is noted in History and ..ed by the Regional governor; Pilate-The Romans surely know how to properly execute someone. Jesus did not just "Faint" on the cross near death, and then get revivied by the cool of the tomb. He had a spear thrust in his side on the cross at the end of His Crucifixion to confirm that he was dead, nobody could have survived that.-"The tomb was found Empty" ....Jesus's enemies went to great lengths to ensre that Jesus's tomb was sealed and guarded so that nobody could steal his body and then claim that "he has risen". See Matthew 27:62-66. Basically Jesus' tomb was guarded by soliders and sealed by stone. How could a small group of discouraged fisherman defeat the soldiers and roll back the stone sealing the tomb? I also noticed today an interesting account in Mathew 28:11-15 about how the Guards at Jesus' tomb were bribed to falsely stick to the story that Jesus' deciples stole the body while the Guards Slept.-"Jesus appeared after his death to many witnesses" ......Jesus appeared alive to many witnesses in the 40 days after his resurrection. Therefore we have a historically recorded eyewitness testimony of Jesus' resurrection. Few or no people back then, including Jesus' Deciples, actually understood or believed that Jesus would rise from the dead as he promised that he would earlier. The Bible in 1 Corinthians 15:6 states that Jesus appeared alive after his ressurrection from death to over 500 people . How could so many people all have the same eyewitness account of seeing Jesus risen from te dead if it weren't true, especially his frightened and discouraged Deciples and especially doubting Thomas?-"Countless people have encountered the living Jesus and been changed by him".....This includes Jesus's deciples, The apostle Paul ,and Countless others through History up to today. Jesus' deciples witnessed Jesus' life on earth, death and ressurrection and all but 1 of them were later executed for their faith, and this is ..ed in History. Why would these men give up their lives for their faith if they were believing a lie?I don't know all of the answers about God, Christianity, and the Bible, and I struggle with sin daily and get discouraged at times, but I am trying my best to learn more and grow in my faith each day. The internet is a great resource for the study of Apologetics. I love God and Jesus and trust in Jesus for my Salvation, and I know and am very happy that I will be in Heaven forever with God and Jesus at the end of my life on Earth.Jesus Loves you and loves you enough to die for you so that you can be in heaven forever! He did this for me & cast MY many sins (Past AND present AND future sins) as far as the east is from the west. Just Open up your heart & let him in. In Revelation 3:20-21 from the Holy Bible, Jesus says "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me.
