I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships and Friends

About Me

Well, for starts, my real name is RANDY LOUR, and I'd lived in Kansas all my life and have had my military service time as well...It seems pretty ironic that when I was in the Navy, I was a "message processer Supervisor". Now, that I'm in Colorado Springs, doesn't mean I'm going to convert into a BRONCOS fan. GO KANSAS CITY CHIEFS!!!!! Although, I wouldn't mind investing in a BRONCOS CHEERLEADERS calender. WOW!!!!! Hey, I'm a sucker for beautiful long legs. So sue me. LOL!!!! One day at a time in the "big city". So, go figure that I'm a very fast typer and very talkative. That's never gonna change. I get so excited sometimes, I feel like my brains are gonna pour out of my freakin' ears from talking so damn much. LOL!! I am proud to be a veteran and toured the world in the same process. Brazil, Hong Kong, Phillipines, Africa, Barbados, Hawaii, etc. Beats the hell outta Neodesha, Kansas any day of the week, Toto. LOL!! I'm always a friendly person, and have never met a stranger. Just remember. "A stranger is a friend you've never met." Hmmm...An old friend of mine named Darrell Abbott quoted that. Yeah!!! I was very privileged in meeting DIME back in 1984 and he was a very cool cat even back then way before PANTERA was gigantic. I thank my lucky stars that I have so many interesting people to even just say "hello" with, and it makes life so much more joyful. I love music (especially "loud old school" metal) ANTHRAX, SLAYER, MEGADETH, and METALLICA. (The "big four" of the thrash/speed metal of the early 80's era). I'd even witnessed a killer concert in San Diego's "Sports Arena" with 3 of the 4 back in 1990, on the "Clash of the Titans" tour, minus METALLICA. It was an event I will never forget. SLAYER was the headliner that night. OMFG!! SLAYER just was so loud, that my shirt was "vibrating". Even in the "nose bleed" seats!..I should say "ear bleed" seats!! LOL! I really couldn't decide which band was better. MEGADETH's new album, "Rust In Peace", just came out with good ole Marty Friedman on the lead guitar, and he was brilliant. It's all good, folks!!--Sports (Go CHIEFS and BRAVES!!!) I miss Derrick Thomas. R.I.P. (CHIEFS). Can't really get into NASCAR. I'd much rather watch the paint dry on a house. LOL!! I love online chatting whenever possible to friends that have the patience to listen to what I have to say, cause, I can also listen to. You know? Hell, nowadays, most of my friends I visit with I've known for over 2 years, and some are new ones. That's just on Myspace. When I was living in Ohio, for a brief time, I keep in contact with new friends from there. Now that I'm in Colorado Springs, I may have to get a bigger Myspace page. LOL!!! Basically, a good ole boy from Kansas that works hard for a living and takes pride in his morals and enjoys life with a smile. Everyone I meet, I always give my input on what should be respectful and I'd like to think that others feel the same way I do. If people are gonna be a "smart ass" towards me, then, I'll "fire back", and never look back in self regret. Life is too short to not enjoy what is unique and special in your identity, cause that is your heart and soul. Don't let anyone change you, cause you'd be a faker just pleasing others in the long run! ROCK ON, COMRADES!!!!!!

My Interests

Well, I tend to have this strong interest in "knitting quilts", playing a mean game of "dominoes", and flirting with all the "hot nurses".LOL!!! "Mr. Lour, your new PENTHOUSE magazine just arrived, but I'd better give you your heart medicine first." LOL!!!...Just kidding.....I'm not ready for the "old folks home" as of yet. I just make fun of myself cause I am 42 years old, and believe me, if I was 70 years old right now, I'd still have that same 15 year old "childlike attitude" to this day. My Dad was very good at keeping me in stitches laughing so hard on a day to day basis. LOL!! Especially when he'd be singing these dirty songs, when my Mom's back was turned. So, now you can understand where I got my warped silly sense of humor from. LOL!! I like interests of what others I enjoy describing about. If you can't use your ears to listen and learn from other people, then, where is the progression in life? Just as long as it's from the right sources and not from some bullshit artist. I can't stand liars. It gets very boring down here in Kansas, so, for anyone I meet, that means, that I'm interested in them the most thru out that day or week. Whether they have a funny story to tell me to make me laugh, or looking at a nice and interesting poem. For whatever reasons. If you've traveled, then I can relate to that. If you like this certain band, then I will listen to them. Or even food that I've never tried before, that you may suggest. I will consider that. I like going to concerts and playing softball, and watching football on tv, and etc....But, my biggest excitement is talking with people from all over the country, cause, I just absorb it to the max. So, for whatever you like to discuss towards me, I'm all ears. Believe me, I'm not a freak, I have been all over the globe, and I know when I see a true and interesting person. I wasn't born this way. I may be somewhat of a "corn fed redneck" from Kansas, and get alittle carried away with my sense of humor, but it's all in good fun. It takes about 40 years to gain a true admiration for other nice and interesting people like you all.

I'd like to meet:

That's a pretty easy one...I'd like to meet a kind and caring soul and fall in love again. I just handle life one day at a time. If she's out there somewhere, I wish she'd hurry up, cause "father time" is kicking my ass. LOL!!! As for "celebrities"..Hmmm...OZZY OSBOURNE, ZAKK WYLDE, JOHN PETRUCCI (Dream Theater's guitarist), ALEX LIFESON (Rush's guitarist), BILL HUDSON and CHRIS PETERSEN (Cellador's guitarists), JASON BECKER(Formerly a great guitarist, before ALS disease disabled him), GEORGE CARLIN(Comedian), BROOKE BURKE (Supermodel), VINNIE PAUL (Pantera/Damageplan drummer), PETRA NEMCOVA(Supermodel), and all of the band members of ANTHRAX would be cool as hell to meet someday. Oh....my all time favorite actor, AL PACINO!! I'll have to meet that crazy bastard, MEL BROOKS as well as the surviving members of MONTY PYTHON some day. LMAO!!

Music:

Heavy Metal and classic hard rock all the way. ANTHRAX, PANTERA, SLAYER, METALLICA, JUDAS PRIEST, BLACK SABBATH,VAN HALEN, DOKKEN, LAMB OF GOD, DEVILDRIVER, HELLYEAH, AC/DC, TESTAMENT, MEGADETH, KISS, THIN LIZZY, DEF LEPPARD, IRON MAIDEN, RUSH, DREAM THEATER, SEVENDUST, ARCH ENEMY, KANSAS, QUEENSRYCHE, LED ZEPPELIN, TROUBLE, NAZARETH, BLUE OYSTER CULT, CRIMSON GLORY, TED NUGENT, FRANK MARINO, RIOT, RACER X, ADEMA, ZZ TOP, KORN, STRYPER, DIO, UFO, SCORPIONS, TRIUMPH, CACOPHONY (Jason Becker/Marty Friedman), ACCEPT, SAXON, MOTORHEAD, EXODUS, PAT TRAVERS BAND, JIMI HENDRIX, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY...(Zakk Wylde fucking rules!), old OZZY (with Randy Rhoads, of course), CELLADOR (power metal new kids from Omaha, Nebraska!!) and HIBRIA (Intense musicians from Brazil!!)..The list is just too infinite to write all of them down!!!! LOL!!!! Alot of them are out there with so much talent, and I don't even know whether I'd like them or not, until I'd heard their music!!!!

Movies:

Comedies and Horror flicks. Mainly, comedies like BLAZING SADDLES, and SCARY MOVIE one and two. MONTY PYTHON movies are always classic as well. Especially THE MEANING OF LIFE. Ha!! (Horror) I love the Stephen King movies the most. THE EXORCIST, AMITYVILLE HORROR and the HALLOWEEN movies are up there on my list as well. I'm not too hip when it comes to "gore" flicks. On occasions, adult movies are on my diet. LELA STAR and LANI LANE are the bombs!!! But, I'm also a GEORGE CARLIN fanatic!!!! I know he may offend alot of people, but, he's very politically "correct" and very honest, that you can't help but laugh your ass off at this "old fart" from New York! LOL!!! Also....this is a "new update" on here, 4/1/06......RON WHITE, CARLOS MENCINA, and RODNEY CARRINGTON get's me bursting into tears laughing so hard as well. "C'mon, sing you bastards!!" LARRY THE CABLE GUY, and DAVE CHAPPELLE are always great. ROBIN WILLIAMS, RICHARD PRYOR, EDDIE MURPHY. Also, alot of other people don't realise of how much "Pantera's" guitarist was also a clown and comedian, DIMEBAG DARRELL was just one of the funniest people on earth, before he was shot and killed in cold blood. Any PANTERA fan needs to watch all 3 of the "home videos" from them, and he was a laugh riot. It's April Fools Day, and I'm watching some of the scenes right now, and this was before the MTV show, "Jackass" was ever created, and Pantera was the originators for the "shit" that gave inspiration to some of the partying days of what a "heavy metal" band should be like on the road touring!!! No shit!! LOL!!!! "WHERE TAKING OVER THIS TOWN.....AIMED AT YOU, WE'RE THE "COWBOYS FROM HELL"!! Updated...8/6/07...Also, my old buddy, KEITH KITTRELL, originally from Neodesha, Kansas, is a classic in hisself. LOL!!!! Now that I'm up here in Colorado Springs, he's keeping me in stitches 24/7...besides when he finally passes out, of course. LMAO!!!! Keith is the "God of all goofballs!!"

Television:

Mainly 60's and 70's classic tv stuff...I'm addicted to TV LAND and COMEDY CENTRAL!! VH1 classic, and FOX are always great. My favorites from the new generation of television are "My Wife And Kids", "That 70's Show", and "Everybody Loves Raymond".

Books:

Stephen King and Lee Child Novels...Tons of Guitar World, Revolver and Hit Parader magazines.

Heroes:

I tend to look upon my parents as my true heroes. God rest their souls. Every day I thank them for teaching me about the happy things in life, and treating people with respect. That is, if they actually deserve respect. My Mom and Dad where the prime example of loving and caring parents as far as I'm concerned. I can always look back, and then reflect of what traits they bestowed onto me since day one, and it really brightens up my day. I know they are always watching over me, so, that is always a spiritual uplift. God bless HOWARD LOUR AND ISABELLE LOUR..... R.I.P.
