Wreaking havoc since 1986

About Me

I'm ambitious, competitive, opinionated, focused, driven. If you're nice to me I'm the best person EVER to have in your corner and if you're not...well, I pity you, you poor soul. I'm determined to do something at some point in my lifetime to create some form of positive social change, how ever minimal it may be. I'm a little on the obsessive side when it comes to media and political analysis as well as theory. All non-opinionated people need not request me as a friend. Oh yes, and I kinda like to sing, it's just a SMALL passion of mine, along with acting (if small means it's totally consumed you). I'm currently in the process of putting together my team of people to help further represent me better in film, television and the recording industry. I've been working in the industry for many years now, primarily in theatre. Advice and references are always appreciated! And here's a little something extra: "In our lives we have alternately played the part of Queen, heroine, poet and rock star. Our passions burn fiercely... and passion is not a quiet thing. They call us wild at heart. The crazy ones. The rebels. The misfits. The crusaders and the warriors. But in truth we are the dreamers. And we forever find the way. We imagine. We create. We invent. We honor and we believe. Some people have sight, but we have vision. Maybe thats why we have to be a bit crazy. How else can you stare at an empty piece of canvas and see a work of art that has never been painted? Or sit in silence and hear a song that has never been played? Or breathe life into words of a story that has never been written? We believe in our dreams so strongly that we hold the power to see them come true. Because the people who are brave enough to think that they can create magic....Are the ones that ultimately do."

My Interests

Acting, writing, opera, literature, cooking, boxing, kickboxing, fencing, yoga, pilates, cars (and racing) and auto mechanics, politics, philosophy, spirituality, and travelling. (And reading books on all of these!)

I'd like to meet:

People who have a strong moral and/or ethical compass, know exactly what they want out of life and are willing to do almost anything to get it. The way I see it, you should either go big or go home. I'm interested in meeting new or up and coming artistic talent or techies in the cinema and recording industries. Well...that and all of you who are reading my page!

Music:

WAY TOO many artists/genres to name! (Anything, everything. My playlists change every 10 minutes.) However, if you absolutely HAVE to have one artist living in your Mp3 player at the moment I'd say go with Rocco Deluca and the Burden. He's the baddest cat out there, with the hottest guitar-playing hands in the business right now. But that's just my humble opinion...and he's on my player right now!

Movies:

American Beauty, The Departed, Cruel Intentions, A Lot Like Love, Casablanca, The Third Man, Brick, Clueless, Something's Gotta Give, Red Eye, Mean Girls, The Notebook, The Family Stone, Bad Education, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Il Postino, Killing Zoe, Life is Beautiful, Johnny Stecchino, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Layer Cake, Casino Royale (and any Sean Connery or Pierce Brosnan bond flick), The French Connection, Breathless, Notorious and anything else by Hitchcock, The Holiday, You've Got Mail, Schindler's List, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, WALK THE LINE(!), The Science of Sleep, Little Miss Sunshine, Collateral, Thumbsucker, Cars, Capote, Legally Blonde, Shall We Dance (the Japanese version, not that hideous J.Lo one), Ocean's 11, Out of Sight, Intolerable Cruelty, O Brother Where Art Thou, Good Night and Good Luck, Babel, anything with Ava Gardner (my iconic inspiration for all formal wear choices!) I could go on, but then I'd need another page!

Television:

Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, anything on HBO especially Six Feet Under, Big Love and Sex and the City (how cliche.., right?), Ugly Betty, Anderson Cooper 360 and anything else on CNN, the Weather Channel, the Discovery Channel or Bravo

Books:

Not enough space to name them all!

Heroes:

Angelina Jolie, Rachel McAdams, Christiane Amanpour, Ani DiFranco, Johnny Cash, Barack Obama, Madeline Albright, Oprah Winfrey, Julia Roberts (cheesy, and typical, I know), Felicity Huffman, Eckhart Tolle, Winston Churchill, David Cronenberg, Deepak Chopra, Mary Pickford, Tom Ford, Domenico Del Sole, Meryl Streep, Gugliemo Marconi (inventor of the radio), William Paley, Edward R. Murrow, the Lumiere Bros. (1st cinematogrophers, inventors of the movie camera prototype)

Hitting the Wall

I came to the conclusion that real life as I know it has officially ceased to exist in my case. Life exists within four walls for me and consists of pre-set, pre-timed activities. All I do is work. ...
