My name is Cannabis Sativa. You might know me as Ganja, Bud, Weed, Cheeba, Pot, or even Mary Jane. Doesn’t really matter what you call me, it all hits the same, I’ll get you stoned. They say people have been enjoying my effects for thousands of years, dating all the way back to at least 2737 B.C. when people first started using me for medical purposes. That’s a long ass time folks, that makes me older than the J-man himself.
How ever I don’t think you came here for a history lesson… But if you are looking for facts about weed or any other drug for that matter the Erowid link at the top is an excellent unbiased site for accurate and knowledgeable information.
I’m pretty sure most of you know who I am and what I do. More than one third of all Americans claim to have tried me, and that’s just the ones who aren’t afraid to admit it. So whether you’re packing bowls in a bong, taking hits from a pipe, rolling a jay, lighting up a blunt, or making your favorite “special” brownies, lets all take a second to enjoy some weed in the name of weed, because we all love it and it loves all of us.
