I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

An artist by essence. I write novels (though I rarely finish them), I love drawing human faces and bodies and I just find artcraft fascinating. Singing is something that I do with heart and soul and, with some lucky and technique too. =) Music is my youth fountain and I like many musical styles but metal is in my veins since a long time ago. Professionaly I am an English, Spanish and Portuguese teacher and I also work as a translator. As an educator sometimes I get too hard and severe on my critics but that is just because I realize the importance of education in one's life. Literature is a friend of mine and my personal shrink. You can understand much of human being's evolution and yourself by reading what others wrote and lived before you. The Literature eras are something to me! Passionated about foreign languages and countries. I am always interested in learning a new language and knowing more about the people behind the language. I had the luck to study Linguistics at university, so I understand a bit of many languages and I speak 4 of them currently: Portuguese, English, Spanish and Italian (not perfect but on the way). I am currently learning German and Finnish as well. I tried Japanese and Polish but I have skipped them to a later time. =D I live in Sorocaba, a city that is near São Paulo. It is a nice city, that has around 600.000 habitants and to me it keeps being a nice place to live, though polltion and crime rate have raised a lot since I were a kid. I guess I will always be the small town girl, doesn't matter how much I travel or broaden my horizons. XD
