Mayfield Collision

Mayfield Collision is a force to be reckoned with. They are an avant garde electro-pop duo that originally formed in May of 2006 in the Cleveland Heights area. They are fronted by the dynamic vocalist, Jeremy Vandress (AKA Mayfield). He is a long-suffering artist who writes most of his material about falling in love on the dance-floor. Mayfield Collision is backed by Scotty J (AKA Collision). He is an eccentric synthesizer wiz who has a penchant for dropping serious beats and programming odd noises. Their music has been described by such genres as 'Dance Punk', 'Electro-Clash', 'New Wave,' and 'Shit-core'. The main focus they have when writing songs is to combine witty lyrics with strange sounds and propulsive rhythms.
