THE Crescent City of NEW ORLEANS,now more than ever. ITS MY HOME SWEET HOME."The following is a statement from Dr. John on the devastation of his hometown of New Orleans: "I love New Orleans. I love the people, its food, its culture, the music and the lifestyle. New Orleans is the best of everything. I'm saddened and angered by what has happened. If anybody in the government would've done something about the disappearing wetlands for the past fifty years, then this probably wouldn't have been as bad.The federal, state and local governments have known for a long time that certain things needed to be done to protect New Orleans. The levees should've been able to deal with this assault. Now a high price will be paid for neglecting the needs of the city and its people. It makes me think of what my friend Reverend Goat just told me, 'Let me say this before it goes any further. New Orleans didn't die of natural causes, she was murdered.' Everyone should donate what they can to the relief effort."How sad is that? And its 100 percent TRUE! But it will return like a Phoenix out of the Ashes, its just time to get cracking on the ju-ju and gris gris the citys been dealing with and let us watch as it returns strong and as the blown off the map towns in MS are completely forgotten about by everyone. Earth changes? If you've never been, even if you have traveled the world yet you have NEVER experienced New Orleans, you are getting so ripped off in this lifetime. Go! No matter your age! Children? Tons of things to do without ever setting foot in the Quarter. Do yourself and your loved ones and favor and see the Mardi Gras parades from where the locals go, way up on St.Charles avenue, its great! No pick pockets and the parade people are in a great mood at the area parad begins. You can take a street car there! Go! Spend your money and LAISSEZ LES BON TEMPS ROULET! Just let the good times roll and they will of every way shape and SOUND! The music will steel your heart! Watch out! And so will the city loving people of New Orleans. Their are still people coming and falling in love and moving there because ITS THAT GREAT! Yes New Orleans interests me..........................................................

Me! I got me where I am today and I really love my life,my family,my friends, my places and just the life I've created for myself. Good job me! All my life I've wanted a peaceful home and I have created not only a peaceful home for me and my children and too many animals but a loving one as well. Its our safe nest/haven from the world and I really love my house and deck! My back yard is part tame and lovely and part of it is now (post Ivan) it is a great wildlife sanctuary and my fence keeps large animals out like gators, black bears, florida panther and large snakes from entering. Go ME! My real true life prince charming, proving me wrong about men...MY magical Grand SUN,he caused my heart to grow 10 times it size! He took away a black and white view of the opposite sex, he brought me balance and I adore him. I admire his mother for listening to her innervoice and having him. He saved my life and still does every day. And! The BEATLES for filling my entire life with legendary music and to PAUL for singing about cosmic consciousness and for being my ellusive Knight in shining armor.(and Captain Jack Sparrow) All humanitarians are my heroes, whoever they are.AND EVERYONE who made heroic acts of any kind during Katrina,EVERY SINGLE ONE. Katrina the hurricane for exposing how our leaders react under intense pressure and for exposing the levee system flaws OUR LEADERS knew about and for letting us know what priority poor people are. But then, we all knew. Chris Rose the writer for the Times Picayune for explaining the unexplainable and Deepak Chopra for sharing his cosmic consciousness. His Holiness The Dalai Lama for being an excellent example of compassion.AND THE CITY OF NEW ORLEANS IS MY HERO!She will only come back stronger! If you read the history of her you will see she cannot be destroyed! The Spirit remains and will live on thru her music. This I know for sure.
