Dead Already was formed in mid 2006 and consists of (at the moment) 4 members, Steve (guitar), Marc (drums), Blitz (bass) and Vince (Screaming vocals). There is a fairly long story as to how Dead Already came into being but this is the shortened version. In about mid 2006 Marc and Steve had been jamming together for a while and decided that it was time to move on past just the jamming randomly stage and start a band. So the search began for a bassist and a vocalist and after what seemed like an unending phase of bad luck, bassist Blitz showed up on the scene and shortly afterwards vocalist Chris. Like every new band, we had to "find" our genre and Dead Already went through many different styles and genres of music before settling on thrash punk. After about 2 months or so of playing together the band started having issues with band members having style clashes. So they decided to break up and go their separate ways.
About a month after the break up Marc and Steve, having always being into metal, decided to start a metal band. So they called up Blitz and told him about the idea. It took a bit of persuasion but in the end he agreed to give it a try. After the first few jamm sessions they knew that it was the right move as ideas for new material were flowing greater than ever, So the three officially raised Dead Already from its grave. However, where ever these three go, bad luck is sure to follow. And sure enough bad luck struck again, Leaving the band without a vocalist for about 8 months. Then one day along comes Vince, who they met on myspace and was coming to try out for guitar. Unfortunately he was not on the Same "level" as Steve on guitar which the band needed but he was very quick to point out the fact that he could also do screaming vocals. The band being very sceptical about just accepting new members after the first jamm session didn’t say that Vince was in just yet, he had to prove himself a bit more. However after about the 3rd jamm session he proved himself, with his high pitched/violent scream and became the permanent Vocalist/front man for the band.
The band is progressing fairly fast, and has been playing shows basically every weekend, for the past two and a half months.They look to add another Guitarist to the band, and get some tracks down in studio, in the near future.
