My name is Raul, just like everybody else in the biz i have a stage name and its dj.woo. I started my career in TV as the Producer/Director of a Spanish Rock program called "GRITO ALTERNATIVO". The show featured local underground as well as international artist and bands.
Soon i decided that the local Spanish Rock scene needed a little help so i became manager of the band "Desgracia de Inez" we got off to a good start. Things were great then as things go in the music scene, the band broke up. Looking to keep the momentum i took over the management duties for the band "deSANGRE" after a series of ups and downs we continue to rock and roll.
One day i walked into a local internet radio station called "Earthwire.net" and walked out a dj calling myself dj.woo. Soon after the demise of earthwire, I found my way to "KPFT 90.1fm" 5 years later i walked out of there. Those were the days, the name of the show was "ALTERNATIVE SCREAM" it lasted 7 years and will return to radio soon.
While doing all of the above i also manage to produce another TV show called "ALTERNATIVE SCREAM TV" and this program will be back on the air for the fall season cablecast on Comcast ch.17 so if your in Houston keep an eye out for it.
And if that aint enough i also produce Music, I am part of a group of beat makers called Trak Addikz along w/lion 808, Icon 730 and Flawless 1. We just produced a CD called "IN TIME YOU WILL SEE" click on these myspace's and become our friends. If you want more info just send me a message.
