Revolt of the Sun was the destiny. Marco had started his musical career as a teenager. Known as Aztec-M, he was known to spit raw freestyles and hype the crowd. He was part of a local act known as WASTED YOUTH, which also consisted of Chico, King Henry, and the one and only DJ Chicken George. A few years later in college, DJ Chicken George met G-zs who was then experimenting with amalgamating different forms of music with hip hop. G-zs was playing guitar and keyboards as well as flowing with this experimental band that later turned out to be Desgracia de Inez. Everybody got connected and from that point on, Marco, Chicken George, and G-zs often got together to experiment with different sounds. Everybody eventually began going their own route. G-zs was with Desgracia de Inez as well as working on his solo project, Marco was also working solo, and Chicken George was making a name for himself at local radio stations. A few years later, G-zs and Marco decided to combine forces to create a group with conciousness on a social-political level. By this time, G-zs had already gone into production and making beats, so he took care of all the odds and ends of putting together a CD. After a few years, Marco decided to take a step back from the mic and concentrate more on the turntables. As a result, G-zs and Marco began scouting for a new member. At one point Marco had heard a track produced by a friend and local beat maker. This track was laced by a kid known as Eddie who is now known as Azpekt. Azpekt joined the Revolt for about a year. As a young MC, he learned some of the ropes of showbiz from G-ZS. Since then, Azpekt has moved on to a solo career, but still collaborates with the revolt. Today, the Revolt only consist of G-ZS and Marco. Marco has jumped back on the mic. Back to the original dynamic duo.
