in the following, i am MOST DEFINATELY not trying to diss any other religion. i love everyone. XD
I am a spiritual person. i do go to church (i try to every sunday) and LOVE being there. no, im not one of those perfect lil freaky kids that has his hair plastered to his head and wears a tie. im a religious scientist. no, not christian science. not scientilogy. dammit. RELIGIOUS SCIENCE.(or Science of Mind.) we believe that all is one, one in the Spirit (or God, whatever you wanna call it.) we all have the power to change our lives by changing our mind.
i think we are different from most religions in the fact that we are not preoccupied about the afterlife. in fact, we very rarely talk about it at all. Mormons, christians, methodists, catholics, etc. all seem to be waiting to die to me, all seem to be looking forward to the end of their life on this evil planet.
not us.
we love life way too much to be worrying about a silly, trivial thing like death now, not when there's so much life to live before we pass away.
i dont believe in sin,
i dont believe in the devil,
and i certainly dont believe in hell, besides the one that some people make for themselves here on earth.
i love the people that go to my church. they are some of the most free-spirited and beautiffuly accepting expressions of Spirit i know of in the world. there are many gay people and couples at my church, probably because of the fact that are reverend is gay. and OBSESSED with harry potter.
so, thats my lil spiel, you can go back to your colts and rituals, but im stayin right here.
im into writing, just poetry and stuff.

and i try to see beauty

in everything.
