I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I live in Manila. I love the Philippines. Happily married to my darling caring wife Mary Jean. I add old friends I've lost contact with, and new friends who are honest and true and enjoy sharing their world with the rest of us. I have no expectations of anyone here other than a chat and a smile, if your one of those that think "networking" means finding a free place to crash on your hike around the world sorry, thats what hotels are for... I like to play golf and scuba dive, and the Philippines is a great place to do both. The food takes some getting used to (rice with just about everything) but the fruits are amazing and the seafood pretty good too. Live music is astounding, shopping is great, driving is an exercise in anger management and crossing the street's like a game of "frogger". The women are the sweetest I've ever met anywhere in the world but look out guys they are fiercly protective of what they consider to be "thier own"... that includes you!! Love and miss my children in the US, Samantha, James and Laura, and Samantha's son Frank ...all grown and doing thier own thing. I'm proud of them all in different ways and for different reasons, but mostly for they way they overcome adversity... I left England in 1984 for the US, after about 15 years my sister asked if I'd ever come home and I told her that if I moved from California it would probably be for a new adventure and here I am almost four years in the Philippines. There's a lot of world to see and I promise that while National Geographic is great for those who can't go, its better in person... go see for yourselves... and happy trails... mmm
