My name is Martin Randahl but my friends call me "Marti". I make my living as a landlord in Venice, California. It's a tough job though, there are a lot of deadbeats that don't pay their rent on time. Managing properties is just how I pay the bills, though. My real passion is interpretive dance. I'm currently performing a dance quintet at Crane Jackson's Fountain Street Theatre. It is a great venue. If you're in the area I'd love it if you came and gave me notes.

Marty or Monty?
There is much debate in the "Lebowski" community as to whether the Dude's landlord's name is Marty or Monty. It is unclear and a bit slurred in the movie.
