Band Members: Mike Ratledge, Robert Wyatt, Hugh Hopper, and at various times and places other people including: Kevin Ayers, Brian Hopper, Lyn Dobson, Elton Dean, Mark Charig, Nick Evans, with a push from Daevid Allen. Later members include younger brothers, well-wishers, jazz-fusion hopefuls and others.
Influences: All that is good and exciting and real.
Sounds Like: A better version of all the bands they inspired, i.e. a meeting of jazz and rock that led to mutual benifit.
