--REVIEWS--RE: Paragraph 64 on EMFW:
"Dolores Dewberry speaks a paragraph 64 as the twitters of Kurt Schwitters range their ways through the calm and multilayered meanings of the past that inevitably emerge from the numbering of a paragraph"--David Cotner, Staalplaat's Vital Weekly
"Dolores Dewberry's 'Paragraph 64' calms the pace, creeping in, (as I often do), the organs keys are sat on, perpetuating the notes, a muffled voice gives the impression of coining from an adjacent room... Pulsating mesmeric electronics, the impression that something bad happened here this sultry Hiroshimal-Nagasaki night a monochromic dreamy yet nightmarish soundscape culminating with a barely audible organic gelatinous killer of a 'click' that would do justice to a Maurizio Bianchi piece ... the sudden retraction of the tongue from the upper teeth. Says I."-- Gary Simmons
RE: DD/OG split CD/DVD:
"...On this split release she contributes 3 tracks of vivid EXTREME experimental noise soundscapes. Although all three are perfect examples of this type of music it will be her second track ‘The Black Bomber’ which will gain most airplay, if any radio station dares play it, and notoriety. Taking a long sample from a porn film or a faked porn film sample, damned if I could tell which, it’s a hilarious piece that’s sure to put a smile on any face who hears it. Whether this is meant to be a serious statement or just a parody only Dolores knows but it certainly works in this context of music. Who would have thought that such a racket, foul mouthed and all, could come from a bonny wee lass."-- Aural Pressure
"...Dolores Dewberry is making a name for herself with her original brand of sleazy electronic noise. On this split she presents 3 nasty and tasty new tracks..."-- Rough Trade
"...a superb mix of of Sleazetronics, cutups, and Noise Beauty."-- APOP Records--COLLABORATIONS--

CUMULUS: Sonic Adventures in Straddling the Atmosphere...I curated and produced this monthly event devoted to underground and far-out sounds from the bedrooms of the Twin Cities and beyond...Minneapolis...2002-04. In 2003, I was honored for CUMULUS, in the City Pages Picked to Click Poll: "Special praise this year must be heaped upon Dolores Dewberry for her tireless work in booking and promoting Cumulus, a quasi-monthly roundup of artists in the local electronic experimental underground--in other words, a subterfuge for sneaking laptop artists, home-modified gameboy noise-technicians, and all manner of other way-out junkmusic pioneers into the dark 'n' sweaty environs of the Dinkytowner Cafe. If that ain't enough, she makes some pretty swell sounds herself, most recently featured on the V/VM label's Hurts So Good, a collection of remixes of the legendary Cock E.S.P. For that, Dewberry, we salute you!" --Nick Phillips, musician; freelance writer
