i have been a singer ever since, and i started playing the piano at the age of 9. my vocal style is mainly influenced by the music of many different cultures, e.g. irish, scandinavian, indian, breton, latin... my first encounter with electronic music was made 1997 when recording the track "summertime" with lemongrass producer roland voss being then released on incoming! records on the v.a. vinyl "submerged". i am now taking part in the lounge/ambient project "green empathy"(daniel voss), but during the last month we started to create a new project, called "liu liu". the songs you can listen to in the myspace player are expected for the liu liu project. i wish you to relax and enjoy the songs we made for you. bye-bye, liu liu
in 2005 liu liu´s song "cafe talah" was recorded on the first green empathy album "terratronica" which was released in japan only.
"cafe talah" soon landed on a number of compilations (for example "taipei lounge vol.2" and "global vibes vol.2")
in 2007 the official green empathy debut "souvenirs" was released worldwide on the german label "peacelounge" and contains another beautiful song written and sung by liu liu: "made of love"
